Do not really need multiple inputs and outputs, although 2 each would be nice. View recent Lexicon questions, problems, & answers. Would you recommend the Cakewalk Power Studio 250, (being a Cakewalk forum and all), or would you recommend another product in a similar price range.

Im running ableton live 7.1.3 and I have the appropriate drivers (Lexicon Omega driver and ASIO4ALL), but I still cant seem to get an input from any source on the audio interface. I am using a relatively new Dell laptop, P4, with Microsoft XP. Hey guys, I recently bought an MXL v250 mic to record vocals on my tracks, and Ive been trying to connect it to ableton via my Lexicon Omega.

I know this is a Cakewalk forum, but in the interest of full disclosure, I need help in recommendations for hardware. From what I have read, the Lexicon Omega should be compatible with Sonar 7. Im running a Macbook Pro 2.6Ghz computer, and im trying to record guitars. So i just recently purchased a Lexicon Omega. I downloaded the most current drivers from Lexicon. I get an error message that says "Lexicon Inputs 1-2, and 3-4 not supported by this software or are in use". When I try to use it with Sonar 7 Producer, I get zero input and zero output.
I know the Omega works because I have been able to use it with the Cubase Software provided with the Omega. After many attempts to get Sonar 7 Producer operational with Lexicon Omega as the I/O interface, and with great assistance from this forum - Twitch and Others, I am noe ready to throw the Omega out the door for different hardware.
